Servicing Sewing And Embroidery Machines~ How To Begin.

Image
IMPORTANT ~> Most sewing and embroidery machines are suffering for service ! They need lubrication, badly. Especially the hard working needle shaft area. They need the debris cleaned out of the bobbin/shuttle area.   #1 Step= Pulling the Needle-Plate, UNSCREW IT... and examine and CLEAN And LUBRICATE... this critical area. Pluck the debris out, swab them out, I use some solvent on Long-tweezers holdind a paper-towel edge torn loose....a shard of paper towel... [I like the Bounty Brand because it does not shred or dissolve.]THEN...I Oil Everything That Moves, Especially ~> All The Joints. The Clear Sewing Machine Oil That Is Sold At Walmart with the telescoping tube allows for precise placing of the oil....Then swab things down with the Long-tweezers holding a shard of Bounty paper towel. Pick Out Thread Remnants. Get The Fuzz Out....Do Not Blow It Into The Machine's Workings. It Binds The Gears And Servo Motors. Pick And Vacuum It Out.  #2. If Your machine has a thread cutter

From Old Machines To Newer Machines...They All Need Service And Oil !
